Cozy Tea Time does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or identifiable information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

What Stays on Your Device

The following information is stored locally on your device only:

Tea favorites - Your saved favorite teas
Journal entries - Your mood reflections and notes
Quiz results - Your tea preference answers
Brew statistics - Your brewing history and streaks
Custom teas - Tea profiles you've created
App settings - Your preferences and configurations

This data is never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than providing the app's functionality.

In-App Purchases

When you make an optional tip or purchase through the app:

The transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
We do not receive any payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.)
Apple provides us only with a receipt validation to unlock features
Your purchase history is managed by Apple, not by us

No Third-Party Tracking

Cozy Tea Time does not use:

Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
Advertising networks or SDKs

No Ads

We will never show you advertisements. Our business model is based on optional tips and future premium features—not on selling your attention or data.

Apple Watch & Widgets

The Apple Watch companion app and home/lock screen widgets follow the same privacy principles:

All data stays on your devices (synced via iCloud if you enable it)
No data is sent to external servers
Widget information is displayed locally on your device only

Future iCloud Sync (Optional)

In a future update, we may offer optional iCloud sync for journal entries and favorites:

This feature will be entirely optional—you choose to enable it
Data will be synced through your personal iCloud account
We will not have access to your iCloud data
Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy will apply to synced data

Children's Privacy

Cozy Tea Time is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through an app update.

Since we don't collect any data currently, any changes would likely involve adding optional features that require data processing—and those features will always be opt-in.
