On any tea detail page, tap the heart icon in the top right corner. Your favorite teas will appear in the "Favorites" section of the Encyclopedia tab.

Currently, brew times are set to optimal temperatures and durations based on tea traditions. However, you can create custom tea profiles with your own preferred times in Settings β†’ Add Custom Tea.

πŸ“± Does this work on Apple Watch?

Yes! Cozy Tea Time includes a full Apple Watch app completely free. You can start timers, quick-select favorite teas, and practice breathing exercises right from your wrist.

πŸ”” My timer notifications aren't working

Make sure notifications are enabled for Cozy Tea Time:

  1. Open your iPhone Settings app
  2. Scroll down and tap "Cozy Tea Time"
  3. Tap "Notifications"
  4. Make sure "Allow Notifications" is ON
πŸ’° How do tips work?

Cozy Tea Time is free forever. Tips are optional and help support development. They don't unlock any featuresβ€”the entire app is free. To leave a tip, go to Settings β†’ Support Development and choose an amount.

πŸ“” Can I export my journal entries?

Journal export (PDF, CSV, Markdown) is planned for a future update. Currently, your journal entries are stored locally on your device for privacy.

☁️ Will my data sync across devices?

iCloud sync is planned for a future update. Currently, your data (favorites, journal, custom teas) stays on the device where you created it.

πŸ«– Can I add my own teas?

Yes! Go to Settings β†’ My Teas β†’ Add Custom Tea. You can create unlimited custom tea profiles with your own brew times, temperatures, photos, and notes.

Refunds & Purchases

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Cozy Tea Time purchase
  4. Click "Report a Problem" and follow the steps

Or go to Settings β†’ [Your Name] β†’ Media & Purchases β†’ View Account β†’ Purchase History

I was charged but my tip didn't go through

If you were charged but the purchase didn't complete in the app:

  1. Close and reopen the app completely
  2. Go to Settings β†’ "Restore Purchases" (if available)
  3. Check your purchase history in the App Store
  4. If the issue persists, contact Apple Support

Technical Issues

The app is crashing

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version (check App Store for updates)
  2. Restart your iPhone
  3. Delete and reinstall the app (your data will be lost, so use this as a last resort)
  4. If the issue persists, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version
Widgets aren't updating

iOS widgets update on their own schedule to save battery. To force a refresh:

  1. Remove the widget from your home/lock screen
  2. Open Cozy Tea Time and start a brew
  3. Add the widget back
